St Lukes Anglican Cemetery and Monument

St. Luke's Cemetery is located on the site of the original Anglican mission. An attractive field stone fence borders it. Within the cemetery is a marble monument etched with the names of people interred there up to early 1988. Cemetery improvement was the Bicentennial initiative of dedicated parishioners.

There is a story behind the first date which predates the mission's origin!  It is written in stone!

The flood of 2020 proved difficult for the cemetery with ice floes leaning on, and breaking, sections of the field stone fence; this (along with the wear of many years) has left the fence needing dire repair. The ice floes also damaged the steel gate, lamposts  and littered debris throughout the gravestones.
