The current version of the Fort Vermilion Agricultural Society was formed in 1974 - that makes 2024 the 50th anniversary! The creation of "The Fortress" is one way in which we are celebrating that milestone!
The Fortress
First created in 1940 by the members of the Fort Vermilion Agricultural Society - the Fortress was a community publication that sought to keep the Agricultural society members informed about happenings of the society and recreational / learning opportunities members can engage with. The 2024 version seeks to fulfill much the same purpose - but with a broader scope, including the whole community! Inside you can find business and classified advertising, community events, and historical snippets.
