Begun in 1988 as a Fort Vermilion Bicentennial special event, this fund-raising dinner for wetlands preservation has become a popular evening out.
Organizers have included the Kinsmen and Fort Vermilion Service Club.
The closest Ducks Unlimited project is the Gull Lake Wetlands just north of the Peace River, east of Bicentennial Highway 88.
