	The High Level Chamber of Commerce gifted the Bicentennial sign to Fort Vermilion to commemorate the 200th anniversary (1788-1988) of recorded exploration, trade and settlement in the region. The Fort Vermilion and District Bicentennial Association logo which was designed by local artist, Dia Thurston, is featured on the sign.
